Quiet policy: when other students are noisy

I am on the third floor, the quiet study floor, but there is a group of students speaking in a non-whispered normal voice. These same students have had cell phones ringing, and participated in a very loud discussion which is disrupting my studying. These students should be asked to move to a study/media room, yet nothing has been said. Should I let someone know?

Answer

Hello, we are sorry for the disruption!

We can certainly act on this concern if you would leave us information where the disruption is happening. Be sure to let us know by calling the Circulation Desk (484-2309), or tell the student at the any of the service desks, and they will contact a staff member who will address the disruptive individuals--as soon as we know about the problem.
