The scanners (2 located in the first floor Reference area, 1 located on the second floor Media area) can scan books and papers--including handwritten pages. It is very much like a photocopier or home scanner, and very easy to use.
Accessing and Printing your scanned image: When you finish scanning, the scanner will prompt you to either send the images to your email or save it to a flash drive. We suggest scanning to your LHU email.
When you check your email, the from address says, "KIC Automatic" this email also has an automatic subject line, "lmages from KIC station. Do not reply" (we suggest that you change the name in the scanner's email subject line to avoid the message getting sent to Junkmail).
Print as you would any email attachment.
